View Full Version : Military coup in Thailand?
A state of emergency has been declared in Bangkok and ten tanks are outside government headquarters.
oh no :-(
Just off to check Sky News now
Where did that come from? I hope things calm down:shock:
My Dad got a letter the other day saying he has been picked to play badminton in the World Transplant Games, but guess where its being held..........yep, Bangkok.
It's the first time he's ever been picked, and this happens
It's not fair
My Stepmother and Stepsisters are Thai and live in Bangkok. They've been saying that whilst it is quite scary having tanks on the streets, the general feeling from the people is that they're glad someone is sorting out the existing Prime Minister as he was crap. The army are apparently taking control for the next two weeks whilst a new interim PM is appointed and then new elections will be held next year.
