Okay, so I have a claireallan.com which I don't particularly like and find a PITA to update.
It doesn't get a load of traffic, unlike my blog which has a respectable enough readership.

So I'm thinking of binning the website and instead using my registered domain name as a link to Diary of a Mad Mammy so that anyone hunting me down will go immediately to my blog which does have linkies to Poolbeg, info on my books, etc etc.
It will, unfortunately lose reviews, calendars etc but I'm a bit lax these days at updating them anyway.

Opinions please?

And yes part of this is that I just don't like the messy layout of my official website where I can never seem to get the html to work just so.

I can give you some advice about this offline - could you PM me your email address? I'm working today but I can mail you this afternoon/evening.

Being a Blogger blog (owned by Google) I imagine your blog is likely to rank in the search engines quicker than your actual site.

Have you thought of getting someone to tart up your blog for you with a customized theme(think that is what you call it) for the background.

Twitter would be a good way of having presence on the net too. Every time you update your blog Tweet the blog link.
