I am afraid I have no words of wisdom, Isabel did it all on her own.

WOW!! 41oz in a day seems an awful lot to be taking in. I maybe wrong, but that seems a hell of a lot to me. Jay has roughly 30oz (i think). Thats from around 6am ish appox to his last one at about 8pm.
He has slept through now for about 2 weeks - and only wakes if he wants his dummy putting back in
How old is Amy now hun?
I cant imagine she is still hungry after having that much in the day, but then if she is taking the feed in the night then she must want it
Could you perhaps change her formula to a hungry baby one.
Is she definitely winded before being put to bed? Jay will not sleep unless he has been winded properly.
Hope she settles for you soon chik xx

i really hate to say this but ryan used to wake every nite for either a feed or a drink once they got him off milk at nite time, and even now at the age of 10 i dont think he sleeps right through the nite without waking for a drink at least 2 times a nite  were as jake he slept right through from newborn but i think that was more to do with the fact i brestfed him and took strong anti-depressants with a sedative in them and took them at 9 pm and gave him his last feed at 10 he zonked out all nite till 7am :laff: even now he goes to bed at 7:30 and sleeps right through unless he is ill or cold. as for william i know i pick him up and lay down and feed him in the nite but normally fall asleep and i am sure he is reattaching himself while i sleep and helping himself. so no not much help at all really am i

I don't think there's anything you can do as such Dora it's just something they do themselves. I really don't think there's a knack to it, it's just some babies sleep through from an early age and some don't. I tried desperately to get James to take more during the day so he'd go through but it never worked. Suddenly, one morning we woke up with the alarm and realised he hadn't woken for a feed. Fingers crossed it happens for you soon.

ETA Just re read your feeding schedule. What about doing a dream feed? We've always done this so it doesn't necessarily help them sleep through but she may sleep for a longer stretch.

I'm not really sure if I done anything to get my 2 to sleep through but they both did fairly early - I know Ryan was around 7 weeks because it coincided with a holiday and I was worried it'd knock his schedule out. With him I didn't get up straight away when he stirred, and I popped a dummy in before I went and got his bottle ready - if he settled I didn't bother with the bottle until he woke up again, then i'd do the same again. It took me a while to get my head round leaving him in the same nappy all night mind you :laff:
I read through my birth thread the other day and I had posted that he'd gone 6 hours through the night (a day or 2 after getting out of hospital) and from what I remember that became the norm, and gradually increased - maybe I was just lucky and he was always going to be a good sleeper no matter what I done?

I've only just noticed this thread Dora, sorry i didnt post yesterday.
Now i haven't read all the other replies but i got Lu sleeping through from 10 wks using the Gina Ford routine. Basically it makes sure that they get all their feeds between teh hours of 7am and 7pm thus filling them up enough for them to sleep through the night. I did do a dreamfeed at 10:30pm every night until she was 9ish months when she stopped having it herself, but i never counted that as her waking up for it during the night because i was already up so it wasn't distrubing my sleep and she didn't very often wake up for it!!
Lucy was always a good sleeper tbh, from about 4 wks she would do 8 hours straight just at the wrong time, she'd go down at 1am and sleep til 9am which meant i got a good chunk of sleep but it was just that late night.
I see from your other thread that you did a dream feed last night and had a good night with Amy so fingers crossed this is the begining for you.

Emma didn't sleep through until nearly 7months old, and we had to sort of do controlled crying - it was also down to getting more food in her during the day, but that was because she was a bit older.
Hungry baby milk might be worth a try.

Dan never taught himself sadly and I had to do CC with him a few times from 5 mths onwards. It did work each time but then something like a move/holiday/illness would set him back.
