THIS DOES NOT AIR IN THE UK UNTIL APRIL 12TH, SO PLEASE DO NOT READ UNLESS YOU HAVE SEEN THE EPISODE OR DO NOT MIND SPOILERS!

WOweE! What an episode!!

So, it seems Ben is more of a good guy than Widmore...or at least that is what we are led to believe now. SO glad he didn't kill Penny, and the guess a few weeks back that Desmond was the one to duff him up...well we were right!

Teenaged Ethan and adult Ben...when exactly did this happen? I'm confused about the purge now, Alex was born 1988/89 and was only with Danielle for a few weeks...yet the purge happened in 1992. SO, how could Ethan and Ben be with the Others already, or are they living in both camps at once??

Interesting that the game of RISK Hurley and Sawyer were playing was still sitting on the table when Sun and Frank were in the house! What time are we in anyway?

I find it amusing that Locke and Ben's roles have been reversed. I was glad that Smokey didn't kill Ben like it did to Eko though, perhaps Smokey likes apologies?

The temple...crazy. Really think the statue is Anubis now, and that Ammit is the smoke monster. The screen shot of the glyphs etc is pretty dark though. BUT this means we're dealing with old egyptian legends, I'm just wondering how the time travelling is going to fit into that and just HOW egyptians (Richard anyone? LOL) got to the island in the first place (or did the island COME from egypt through a portal??)

I'm soooo glad that Ben didn't kill Penny. I was so nervous watching it (I know it's not real!) and I didn't really want to know what had actually happened but yay for Desmond! :thumb:

I kinda hoped that the smoke monster would finish Ben off as he gives me the creeps but I guess he is key to the storyline!

Still confused by most of it but still enjoying watching it!

Really great episode!

So much happened that made me go OMG!

What about the other islanders and what was the question they asked Frank (is that the pilots name?) when he got back to the other island about the statue??

moonie check Sky, it's on a few times during the week I think.

Illana asked Frank "What lies in the shadow of the statue?". I think this means they work for Widmore and this is a code question to ask to distinguish who is who on the island. The answer, as far as I'm aware, is the well... but Frank certainly doesn't know that!

Even so I still think he is bad - especially to take a baby from its mother :-(

I think they have shown a more humane side of Ben, by looking after Alex and letting Rousseau live. Also, by not shooting Penny when he saw she had a son with her.

The question about the statue was definitely a code to see who is in and out - most likely to be Widmore - maybe Sun tipped him off considering she was shown meeting with him a few times. Its a funny question really, as there are only ruins there so it wouldnt cast much of a shadow. Only way back in the past would it have been able to cast a shadow over the well or the site of the future orchid station :puzzled:

Fantastic episode!
So confused by the timeline now, when Sun got back to the Dharma village and spoke to Christian Shepherd - there were more recruit pictures up weren't there? As in ones that would've been taken after Jack, Hurley etc were recruited.
I'm a bit worried about the Egypt link and its going to end up like some kind of Stargate thingy.
ATM I'm quite dismissive of the significance of the statue but perhaps it will become clear and there is a big significance?! We were always lead to believe it had been there a long time.
Also - what is the island called?
Where is Claire?
And is the thing about people not being able to have babies a load of balony? There doesn't seem to be any evidence that there is a problem? Is it a pyschological tactic.
Where did Ethan get medically trained? (it was him medicating Claire wasn't it?) I'm so confused?! If he learnt from say Juliet and Jack how come they didn't know one another?
Did the hostiles ask Ben to bring Ethan to their side?
