I can't abide shop-bought pizzas and find the ready-made bases pretty vile too so I've searched everywhere for a, preferably wholemeal, alternative but have drawn a blank.

Thought that surely Waitrose would have something suitable but even they don't seem to do anything of the sort.

Oh & I'm far too lazy to make my own dough in case anyone suggests it. :laff: :laff:

Its not wholemeal but I use tesco pizza base mix - its very easy to make. Just add water, mix and roll /flatten into shape. You could also use some sort of flatbread, nann bread, etc from the bakery and put pizza type toppings on it?

I think Lakeland do a wholemeal bread mix and I'm sure you can get these in supermarkets too. They're usually pretty easy to use.

You can also use wholemeal pitta breads for pizza bases cut open and spread out topped with the usual tomato sauce and lots of lovely toppings :)
