Chicken Pox - Aaaah

I think DS has got chicken pox (off to the doctors to check it out) and wondered on advice on how to stop him scratching the spots.

We noticed a few last night and he has a few more this morning but still not that many and we 'think' they have the signs of the pox.

Not looking forward to seeing no one for the next x days as most of my friends have gone through it with the older one but the newer additions haven't had it so won't be interested in coming anywhere near.

And on a very selfish note I've got a hair appointment next Tuesday I will have to cancel as he won't be going to nursery.....boo hiss!!

aww how did the dr go? there is a lot of nasty stuff going about at the moment isnt there?

He does indeed have chicken pox. Have got some aqueous camomile cream and have told him to tell me if they get itchy - he is being very good so far.

More worried about when he is asleep.

chicken pox is horrible i have had it 3 times now and once durring pregnancy :shock: i found that a nice coolish bath with bicarbonate of soda in it really helped the itching. hope that helps
