and it was not as bad as I was worrying myself!
I am so needle phobic, but all I felt was a little prick, the aneathetist spoke to me asking how old my kids were and the next thing I knew it was 1 1/2 hours later and I had the shakes and someone was holding my hand
My bunion was removed in an op lasting about 30 mins by a really fab surgeon and I cannot wait til a week today til I get to see my new foot when I have the stitches out.
I stayed in overnight and came home yesterday mid-morning. Not feeling too bad but have to keep my foot up as it is very swollen. Feeling quite sick & tired but guess that is a mixture of the medication and the stress of an op.
Am on crutches for 6 weeks and can literally do nothing for a week or so which makes me feel so lazy and helpless but guess there would never be a convenient time to get it done.
Still cannot believe my op has finally been done after almost 2 years of rollercoaster emotions
