:ellie: :ellie: :ellie:
I've been into town this morning and booked us a late deal All Inclusive holiday to Playa Blanca, Lanzarote. I haven't been there before and have heard mixed reviews about it but have been trawling the net and found lots of lovely things said about the Aparthotel we're staying in.
MIL and FIL are coming with us (they came with us last year and we really enjoyed ourselves). We go on 25th Sept for 11 nights. I can't wait :cheer2:
I may still have a bit of a tan for the Damsels party!!

I know! Ryan and Nathan would have had a ball
If my villa is as nice as it looks we can arrange a Damsels meet / holiday for everyone next year   (I'm sure DH wouldn't mind going to a foreign country with people I met on the internet :happyno: )

Brilliant - weather should be lovely too.
We went to Lanzarote last year in January and stayed in Costa Teguise - the weather was nice - not 'hot' but really pleasant. We really enjoyed it there.

*hijack* Where did you stay, and are there any eating places / pubs you would recommend or warn against?
*hijack over - for the moment *

Would love to a-a but don't think my finances would stretch to it (or my holiday allowance from work)
Will be very jealous when you fly out.

Hee hee.
I can't remember the name of where we stayed  We booked it through Thomson, so will have a gander on their website. It was aparetments which were very nice - one of the best I have stayed in.
We always went into the main 'town' of Teguise to eat, just by the beach. There was a selection of restaurants which all mainly served the same things such as steak, Pasta, chicken, etc and we tried a different one each night - all were lovely and good value for money.
What I would avoid over there is the Indian restaurants....we actually saw jars of Pataks curry sauces in the kitchen. And it wasn't very nice.....the owners had their dog stood on the side while serving food. And we didn't walk out...how, i'll never know!
Glad you got it sorted
Hope Nathan gets plenty wear out of the shorts :ellie:
Have a fab time

:brainache: Luckily i'm not so keen on indian food so we probably wouldn't have that anyway but if DH suggests it one night i'll politely decline!!
Don't worry about finding where you stayed, we've already booked so too late to do anything about it anyway  The villa complex we're going to comes recommended by my cousin so hopefully it is as good as she says, it looks lovely on the website so :fingerscrossed:
