I don't think we can go to the Summer Good Food show and I'm gutted. Mum was going to have Elise for the day for us, perfect as she's only 40 mins from the NEC, but she called last night as she'd remembered that she only goes back to work the day before, from 2 weeks off! :no:

OH isn't really keen on Elise going to anyone else in my family up there, as he's worried about Elise not knowing them really, but I think she'd be fine (my auntie has a 2 yr old). And he now thinks it's a sign that we're not supposed to go :roll: :roll:

Can't you take Elise with you? Oh could watch her while you browse, and vice versa. Or maybe there's a park or something nearby that each of you could take her to while the other goes back to the show?

Oh noooo! Could you not bring her with you? If I was going (haven't managed to get an answer from DH yet) I'd have to take Del as well anyway.

I think she'd be fine with your auntie and I'm sure Elise would love to spend the day playing with her LO. Kids are very adaptable, particularly when they have the company of other children.
