Sterilising abroad.

What do I do ???

Sjould I buy a travel steriliser (saw one in tesco for £4.50) as the villa we are staying in has a microwave.... Or is this a waste of time/money/luggage space ??!!??

I heard about those sterliser bags, but cant find them anywhere...
Arrgh !

They do the steriliser bags in our Mothercare. I thought about getting them for when we went away but decided to stick with thorough washing instead :oops:

Let me know if you want me to pick some up and post them to you. Its no problem as I have to go to Mothercare anyway.

Aw, thanks goldilocks, I will see after trip into town tomorrow - as so far has only looked in boots , chemists and the supermarkets TOTALLY forgot to look in Mothercare ! :doh:

When i went away when alfie was 14 weeks i took our steriliser with us, then at 8 months i just cut a huge bootle open and used the bottom of that, put water and the tablets in that and sterilised his bottles that way!!

Thanks CH. Im concerned about space more than anything (IE if I took a sterliser it would take alot of space in the case) Especially when Handluggage has been reduced etc.. I think I shall try mothercare for the steriliser bags, or if not get those tablet things..

I bought Lindam Steriliser bags from Boots - they have them available online too hun! They can be used up to 20 times each and there's 3 in a packet for £3.99 - theyre really compact so Im happy - bunging them in my hold luggage ready for next week. Ive also phoned Boots to get the number for their store airside (past security) to make sure they can put some pre-mix milk aside for me - no way am I tasting baby milk or food for some security dooberry - bleurghhhh

I managed to find the Lindam bags in mothercare (Boots etc didnt have them) I had to pay £4.99 for them though (WHY is Mothercare so expensive ! Grr!) Thanks everyone!
