Are you going to be spoilt rotten?

Or have a weird breakfast made for you, which you have to eat with great enthusiasm?

I think I will be requesting a lie-in and breakfast (made by OH) in bed :)

:( Bugger all. It is DH's busiest day of the year. So I get to mope around upstairs on my tod while hundreds of lucky Mummies are treated to a meal downstairs in the pub

I have no idea if DH will do anything but he has been prompted to get a card & he is paying for a Venture photography session that he doesn't know about yet

Oh dear! :( Now I'm going to feel guilty if I ask OH to take me and DD out to lunch, thinking of some poor chefess or chef's wife! :(

Have fun on your photography session :)

Or Landlord's Wife

Oh please don't feel guilty as you tuck into your Roast Beef & Yorkshires while I sniffle into my sandwich

I don't like eating food in bed, I end up spilling stuff on the duvet then that makes more washing

I've just been to an assembly at Z's school. He had to stand up and say what he promises to do. He said 'I promise to be quiet when my mom is poorly' which was a bit  as I'm better now. I'm just glad he got that section instead of being in the group that had to say what their mom likes. One boy said 'My mom likes watching Paul O'Grady' and everyone laughed, was so sweet.

All the parents were having a bit of a cry and there is a little lad in Z's class who is Downs Syndrome, he's so lovely. He went running up to his mom at the end to give her a huge hug.

Not sure what I'm doing on the actual day. Probably going to my m-i-l's.

We're staying the weekend at MILs  . It's Eilis's birthday on Mother's Day and we're going to the zoo :D .

But what I want to know is - what joker decided to have Mother's Day on the day when the hour goes forward???

It's my wedding anniversary on Sunday too! So I'm not sure if I can demand breakfast in bed or not?

I happen to know (from nosing through school bag) that my 8 year-old daughter has written a poem for me, which I'm looking forward to reading.

I'm making lunch for my mum on Saturday, as she's busy on Sunday.

My girls will have some "suprises" for me lined up! LOL - I love these homemade treats they make!

We will have a Mother's Day Tea later on too with lots of cake and nice things! (I have to make the cake though!!!! LOL!)

Me, my sister and my mum and dad are going out for lunch with the kids... my sis's ex might come too as he has my neice that weekend.

Oh PP, can you not go downstairs and get your dinner made for you too?

I doubt my OH even realises he should do something for me. We are going to go and see his mum as she has just lost hers so might be feeling a bit sad.

Kids are funny. I don't own any green trousers and I don't dance either. :loco:

I doubt I'll be getting in breakfast in bed or anything like that! I'll get a card though, he told me when he bought it. Best of all, when I picked Niamh up from nursery yesterday she'd made a card for me. :yeah:

We are going out for a meal with my MIL and the rest of OH's family. It's OH's 65th birthday, she's retiring and it's Mother's Day all rolled into one.

Not sure if DH will remember. He has done the last couple of years but just got a card which is enough for me. We both didn't bother with our anniversary this year (1 March) as things are a little hectic here with a very tantrumming toddler and screamy newborn so it may mean mothers day will be forgotten too.

Ive been apalling too and whilst I remembered to buy Mum a card I didn't sort out flowers like I usually do and the card is still sat waiting to be posted...
