 I've only seen the first one, and have to confess I wasn't overly fussed  but Adam saw a bit of whichever one was on over Christmas, and ever since he asks for 'Frek' :teehee: ALL the time! I'm sick of the tantrums when I tell him we haven't got it and can't get it on freeview or wherever (I've searched all the 'on demand' bits), so figured I'd see if I can get one cheap on ebay or amazon. But I don't know which to get, or whether to go the whole hog and get the box set of all 3 (I've got some money in paypal so that's ok). Any recommendations?

Shrek 2 is the best! Definately!

Isabel loves Shrek too, we've had it on at least once a day for the past few weeks.

I still love the first one most, but we have all three and regularly watch them all.

I bought Shrek 1 and 2 from HMV for just £8 as Jack likes Shrek 1.

I'd go for a box set  Ours watch them ALL the time, DS2 likes 1 best, DS2 like to vary his options

We have all three - Matthew is obsessed by Shrek so we watch them in rotation (although he has broken Shrek 2 by trying to jam it into the DVD player himself when I said I'd had enough Shrek for one weekend  )

Thanks all. Well just ordered a set with 1 & 2 in it off amazon (so not using my paypal - oops, but I did it through the link on Laura's school website so the school gets a bit of money instead :thumb: ).

Oh bluebabe, it doesn't get any better I'm afraid  Laura is a dab-hand at putting dvds on, which is good in a way as means they can sort themselves out, but bad in others in that of course Adam tries as well and so some dvds have now got scratched (Pingu is somewhat unplayable  ). Mind you, hubby's no help, he's just bought them a basket to put all their dvds in, 'for easy access' :yeahright:

Oh well, hopefully 'Frek' will arrive quickly and I can stop the screaming abdabs!

I'm glad it's not just my DD who is obsessed with Shrek  . We have 1 and 2 on sky + and 3 on DVD...

I think Shrek 2 has to be the best, Puss is SUCH a Dude  but if you have the money i'd recommend getting the Box Set :thumb: Lucy still LOVES Shrek and still calls him "REK" :teehee:

We love all 3 but I would say the 2nd is top favourite. Shrek the Halls came close to making J scared of Father Christmas though :brainache:
