Alfie is getting so bad with this at the mo

I never know when to believe him with what he says.

When he has been down my parents he says that my mum has done this or that. OH has just come back from there with Alfie, & alfie went upstairs to say bye & then said that "Nanny had pushed him out the room" Which she hadn't.

In Asda yesterday alfie came over to me & said a lady had pushed him out the way, she said to me she hadn't & that she pushed the trolley around him i was paying for the food so hadn't seen

He often says things & that OH has done something & he hasnt... There have been many a times when he says someone has pushed him done this or that & they havent.

I have told him/keep telling him about telling fibs but there getting more frequent now.

You need to develop the art of looking him straight in the eyes and saying "what really happened?". They all do it but like you say it is clear when they have.

Have to say I wouldn't have said anything to the lady before being 100% sure though - was she ok about it?

DD1 tries to lie too - yesterday blaming something on a smaller kid - if I catch her out we talk about it and I say that the punishment would have been less if she had told me the truth. We also try to say that being truthful is important, and TRY and set a good example - though I have explained white lies to not hurt people's feelings...

She was fine about it, alfie came & told me & the lady said she hadnt. I said to him about telling fibs & she then explained what she had done, she chuckled about it. I did apologise for it though.
