I go every week & pick something up (usually for Elena). Usually books or puzzles, but I also got her a scooter & helmet for £1 & her school bag a few weeks ago.

 . This is one of the main things I'm looking for - a brio train set. Trains are one of Elena's favourite things at the moment & I really want to get her one.

Yes, Shamu - go along with no expectation & £5 in change. It's fun  & you'll be amazed at what people are selling for next to nothing. Most stall holders are happy for kids to wander along & pick up/play with the toys & Elena is frequently given stuff for free.
I go every Sunday

A top + A skirt + A denim dress (all good condition) for £1
A pair of unworn trainers for 50p
A pair af lovely blue wellies for 50p (which Elena insisted on wearing there & then & jumped in all the puddles we could see).
Not bad for £2 in all & the clothes & trainers will come in really useful for nursery.

Think you may be some competition for Durham Lass, she is the toughest car booter I have ever met:lol:
