How much food?

Del has started to cry when she finishes her food so we have started to offer more but I'm scared I'm overfilling her. For brekkie today she had double her usual amount and for lunch half a banana on top of her veg and fruit (portions are about the size of those Tommee Tipee pots)

Should I keep going or would she explode? I'm scared of sick so I don't want her hurling all over me. :oops: She's 8 months btw.

I've always been told that babies will only eat as much as they want. I gues you could try her with a bit more, see how she goes and keep increasing it gradually.

Maybe she's havign a growth spurt.

I had the thought earlier that maybe the meals aren't substantial enough for her, I'm still using up the freezer backlog from the 'I won't eat veg' days. They are mostly just mixed veg purees so I have just made her up a batch of Lovely Lentils from the AK book (for some reason I have to say lovely lentils in a Vic Reeves style :huh: ) So I'll see if that fills up Little Miss Bottomless Pit. Might be a growth spurt as you say, or she is burning it all off too quickly, she's been doing a lot of standing up.
