On Thursday :brainache: :brainache: :brainache: :brainache: .
I was walking T1/T2 and T1's little friend home. We were waiting at the entrance to the village and a car on our right stopped and waved us over.
We waved our thanks and started to walk. Nothing else was coming at this point (it's a one way street).
Two boys, maybe 10, not sure, walked too, a bit faster than us, about 2m ahead.
Then from ahead of us, a crazy woman in a Range Rover (turning right so therefore having to give way to the guy who waved us on) went flying around the corner :scared:, heading straight for the boys.
I SCREAMED at them to stop and put my hand up :loco: to try to stop her (what the feck was I thinking?).
Anyway, they stopped, she stopped, the poor man in the landrover who'd waved us on was nearly having a heart attack, and my heart was in my mouth. She stopped about 2 feet from the boys .
She blathered on about the guy flashing his lights to her, and it wasn't until after I'd left I realised he was trying to tell her to STOP.
I told her she was going far too fast, she looked so embarrassed and kept saying sorry but he was flashing her on.
BLOODY HELL LADY, DOESN'T MATTER HOW MUCH SOMEONE IS FRICKING FLASHING AT YOU, DOESN'T MEAN YOU CAN RUN FIVE PEOPLE OVER.
:faint:
Sorry, it freaked me out a bit :meditate:
I caught up with the boys a bit further on and told them they had to be more careful, that they'd given me a fright (they didn't see her), and they were so sheepish :lurve: and said sorry. I'm like "tell your mum you're lucky to be alive".
GAH!
Thanks for letting me unload
