I put The Lion King on for Jacob this afternoon.
He really can't get the concept of Simba growing up and looking different and keeps asking where the other Simba has gone

Nightmare. I did something similar with DD. I thought Finding Nemo would be a nice treat, but apparently it is quite traumatic to a 2.5 year old who want to know where the Mummy fish has gone. Constantly. Until you see the friendly shark when she screams out of fear. Opps.

Do you want me to say that it is ok the next time you watch it? Or that they are still asking where the Mummy fish has gone even though you've skipped the scene?

Oh, we don't do Finding Nemo anymore. Far too traumatic. He's not bothered about Mummy fish as she is gone pretty quickly but he's more bothered about Nemo being taken from Daddy and then there are the sharks :faint:

:lurve: Miffy that is very cute!

Aww LME  I never thought of Finding Nemo as traumatic.

I cried the first time I watched it

DD hates the bit where the seal jumps up in Happy Feet and my neighbours little girl who I look after wouldn't go in the sitting room when The Polar Express was on because it was "scary" :loco:

Aw bless him Miffy!

Elise loves The Little Mermaid, but the bit in the middle, where Ursula comes out of the water is definitely traumatic, scares the life out of the poor wee thing!
