Lily is crawling everywhere and standing up at everything!
She either has bear feet, tights or socks.
Should she be wearing something a bit more substantial yet? Or not yet?!
Can't remember:oops:

Socks indoors and some Robeez booteez that MIL kindly bought for him to keep feet roast-toasty when out and about.

I think Finn started to wear those soft leather shoe type things (like Roobeez I think) when out and about to keep his feet warm, especially in the winter. But nothing in the house. Bare feet most of the time.
We didn't get him any Clarks shoes till he was properly walking.

When E was that age she had socks or tights and then some Clarks crawlers/cruisers as she was slipping on the laminate floor.

I was thinking about this today... our floors are mostly stone or wood and very hard and cold on little feet (& knees!). I worry about them being cold when we're out too. The little soft leather shoes are the only ones advised at this stage, but I'm not sure they'd give much heat outside. I've always thought cruisers were a total waste of money but might be practical for us atm.
Have been tempted to buy these, but not sure how long they'd stay on for!

Anyone tried these?

I got mine some little totes toasties (http://www.gltc.co.uk/fcp/product/-/rainwear/Slipper-Socks/2121) from GLTC iirc. It kept their feet nice and warm but gave them a bit of grip when they were cruising. I didn't buy shoes till they were walking either.:happyno:

They are so cute Sparkly.
The matching mittens look good too - I realised DD's hand were freezing this morning on the school run!!

Lucy used to have little leather slip on things like the Roobez shoes, but they were from Next. At Lily's age Lucy was cruising confidently and so when we went OUTSIDE she had some Clarks Cruisers, but i wouldn't let her wear them in the house.
She always had something on her feet because i hated how dirty her socks would get

James is either in bare feet or some little slipper sock type things from Primark. They look hand-knitted, have rubbery things on the sole for grip, and they have a mouse sewn on them, which is extra cute for James because William has always called him Jamie-Mousey :lurve:.
He has elf boots (http://www.johnlewis.com/18368/Product.aspx) for outside too, which are extremely cute!

awwww some lovely ideas - perfect for what I am thinking of - just soft little things but with more grip!
Now, how do I know her foot size?!

bare feet. Their feet grow far too quickly at this age to spend money on shoes. Roughly every 6 weeks if Elena's anything to go by.
I think Elena had some of those really soft leather ones. Robeez I think. They're about £20. I don't think I'll bother with A, though. She hate having things on her feet so I'll wait until I have to get her shoes when she's walking outside.

I bought some Pedipeds for M, completely flexible sole, not as hard as Clarks cruisers but a bit more substantial (and prettier) than the pull on shoes.

I had Daisy Roots shoes for Lucy when she was cruising. They seem to be the only baby shoes that actually stay on!
This sort of thing...http://i18.ebayimg.com/03/i/001/13/52/ca7e_2.JPG (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Daisy-Roots-pink-butterfly-baby-shoes-0-6-months-BNIP_W0QQitemZ160291514720QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item 160291514720&_trkparms=72%3A1348%7C39%3A1%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C 240%3A1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14#ebayphotohosting)

Socks or nothing here either, although I am thinking of getting him some shoes soon as he is desperate to walk and shoes might actually help him!

I bought these from Robeez - http://www.robeez.co.uk/Robeez-Sporty-taupe-brown-Robeez-baby-shoes/product.aspx?ProductID=703&deptid=299&PriceCat=3&Lang=EN-UK&RefID=4003 They're real leather and have a soft suede sole for gripping the floor (I have wooden floors). They were perfect for him!
Once he was cruising around properly I bought him his first pair of proper cruising shoes from Clarks.
