Yay!! :ellie: :ellie: :ellie:
I used to go 3 or 4 times a week until about 4 weeks before Niamh was born, but since she's been here I've hardly been and am desperately trying to get back into it but things keep cropping up that stop me from going. Hopefully now I can get into it a bit - I'm hoping I can go Friday pm, Sunday am and maybe a bit of a jog on a Tuesday or Wednesday night. I wanted to do the Cancer Research Race for Life but I can't see that happening now as I can't seem to get any training in.
How do other people with children/babies fit it in?

wELLDONE YOU :ellie: , I cant wait to get back to it . I used to be a toltal fitness fanatic ( mind you that was when I was married to a total TW*T :laff: anything to escape)
I went loads last year , and now nothing ... After bubs is born I will have to get back into it. It takes strong willpower to keep it up so you are doing great with a little one too.

Think that's what got me into it so much previously!! :laff: (Previous boyfriend that is, not current hubby!)
Crazyfool, I'd recommend you should go to the gym or at least do something while you're pg (of course if you haven't got any probs that prevent it). I'm sure it helped me gain less weight and get back into shape quite quickly afterwards.
Dora - yeah but you've got THREE kids not just one like me!

Didlum , you know you are right  I had bleeding at 6,7 and 14 weeks and it has gone now. I didn't really want to go at that time. I was mega worried about miscarriage. Looking back I was being overcautious. I actually fel loads better and as long as I eat every 3 hours  I dont feel sick . I haven't done any strenuous excersise for about 6 months  so I cant even try and do that . Maybe some light working out on the crosstainer will do me the world of good. Will double check with the midwife on wednesday.

 Go for it!! V wise to check with your midwife too. Even if you just do some regular walking and swimming maybe, it all helps I think. It makes you FEEL better if nothing else.
I never had any bleeding so didn't have that worry, but hardly exercised in the first trimester cos I was just SO tired. I still went to the gym but maybe only once a week when I felt like it, then just picked it up again in the 2nd trimester when I was feeling better.
