following on from the thread about my son being mugged. His watch is insured, so that can be replaced. The MP3 player is a couple of years old, but his mobile was bought on 15th September. It is a PAYG and as far as I can see from the paperwork he didn't take any extra insurance out. he is with t mobile but bought it through the carphone warehouse website. Does anybody know if there is a slim chance that is is covered under anything for a limited period? We cancelled the phone last night, but it was some call centre god knows where and she was having trouble understanding my son, and at the end of the call she told him to 'have a nice day' which obviously he wasn't.
I think it was scatterbrain who mentioned house insurance, so will check that in abit, but just wondered if for say 28 days there is something to cover it like a goodwill gesture...I doubt it though.

Would it be covered on the household contents insurance?

Poor lad, I must confess to worrying more about my DS when he's out than I do when DD's out. How is he?
