Blogs - saving? [Archive]

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knew a way to save a blog to your own computer.

I have a fear of blogger.com going bust and me losing my blog.

You could save your posts in a word document or the like?
I don't know... never thought about it before, but now I will!

Could you write the entries in word (or whatever processor you use) and then just save them in date order?

I'm sure there must be a way to back up but I don't know how...

I have no idea at all. I normally type my posts out in word anyway and save them as a word doc so have them like that.

I normally cut and paste them into a word doc on my PC after I've written it.

oh dear, that is going to be very time consuming but probably worth it. I tend to just type straight into blogger. I have about a year and half worth of enteries to save. It would have been much easier to do it each day.
