Hi, yet another sooo embarresing question from me but you guys are the only people I can talk to about stuff like this.
Yesterday I had had about 3 glasses of wine(had a friend round) when I rmemebered I had to clean my oven- if I didnt do it then I wouldnt be able to do it for another week or so and it just had to be done.
I used the oven pride stuff and as I lent over to put the stuff in the oven, I had already done the door and my top went in the stuff- I didnt think anything of it but then it started to burn and it burnt my boob, just above my nipple.    (I apologise my posts are always so long winded!!)

Anyway, thought it would be fine , got up this morning to have a sore boob- but cant see anything there and its got more swollen as the day has gone on. My bra fitted fine this morning but now I have serious spillage:lol: .

Its not the first time recently that this particular boob has hurt, especially around my nipple but its never swollen before or been sore to touch like it is now .

Could it be just a reaction to the oven cleaner- i also got some on my wrist today cleaning it off but thats fine now- but boob is still hurting.
I have checked and there is no lump am just a bit worried is all and wondered what to do.

Thanks for reaing another epic post from me if you got this far !

I would go to the doctor , it could be the skin on your breast is more sensitive so has reacted but I would seriously get it checked out . Just for peace of mind .

OK....oven cleaner is alkali and will burn.

However you should see skin burns along with the swelling etc.

As it's more than a few hours if it is related to the oven cleaner any damage is done, so it won't get worse. I would say there's no rush but maybe see your GP tomorrow if you're worried.

Alternatively give NHSD a ring, if it isn't anything to do with the oven cleaner they will assess your symptoms and advise you from there....

It seems to be alot better today - swelling has gone down but still sore- still no marks on the skin tho.
Thanks for replying . Doubt I will bother the doctor unless it doesnt go away totally .
