I know there is a few of us camping at some point over the next week.

I just wanted to say hope everyone has fun and that the weather isnt too bad for everyone.

I am just havingmy cup of tea and then am going to start filling the car up (we are off to Bamburgh)

have a great time clowe, we won't be camping again until easter next year but we've just confirmed it with the friends we're going with and are already planning what new equipment we need - i'm soooooe excited!

make sure you file a report with piccies when you get back and i hope the weather is good for you

Have a great time Clowe we never went on the wkend and should have as the weather was fine, although we couldnt get a spot everywhere we looked online was booked

I'm just back from mine and thank God the weather was ok (although the days seem warm pak plenty of woolies for the night because even tho it's August it was Freeeeeezing at night!!!!) Have a wondeful time, I used to go to Bamburgh with my family and I loved it!!

Well we are back and survived it and had a fantastic time. It never rained until we started packing up to come nome yesterday morning and then we were in teh car 10 minutes and the heavens opened, it was running down the roads like a river.

The kids loved it, there was loads of kids on the site and they would all meet up on an evening and play together. The site was lovely, very clean, I would recomend it to anone.

We went to some lovely places, Bamburgh is just gorgeous, went to Berwick which was ok, we had a walk around the town walls and went to a great swimming pool.
Stopped at holy Island which was also really lovely.

We wanted to go to Alnwick gardens on the way home but the rain was like nothing Ive ever seen.



And now the bad points.
I forgot the plug for our airbed so the first night we were on the floor which was really awful. Got a plug the following day but then discovered that the bed had a puncture. We had a puncture kit but we couldnt find the hole anywhere:rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

I also lost the diamond out of my engagement ring:faint: (but will do a seperate thread on that in a bit) so was really gutted about that.

Apart from that though we loved it and has confirmed to us that we really do want to buy a caravan.:smile:
