Hiya Dora,

I know this isn't relevant to you now, but Elise has 3 x 7oz bottles of cows milk.

When she was the same age as Amy, she was probably taking 4/5 x 7oz bottles. Do you know, on average, how many oz's Amy is having in a day? The thing is, the way I see it, is if Amy wants/needs it, she'll take it, so don't worry. You've no worries about her being underweight, so I'd give it a bit of time, it could be teething or anything at this age.

Are you weaning yet? If not, you may find that she won't sleep through til then, some babies just don't. I can totally understand how frustrating it must be though :hugs: If you're really concerned, speak to your HV, but I'm sure she'll be guzzling it down again before you know it!

I used to get sooo hung up on Claire's milk intake I made myself ill. If you count how many ounces she is having over a few days you will probably find it is more than you think. So long as she is gaining weight and thriving then i really would try not to worry.

The sleeping though the night thing though is very dependent on your baby. Claire didn't sleep through until she was around 6 months and I know some don't until they are older. Not much help I know.

Have you tried cluster feeding at bedtime? Giving her another bottle about an hour after the one before. This can sometimes help them get through the night...
