Spots and coldsores

My skin is looking really bad at the minute and to top it all I now have a coldsore !! Haven't had one since I was about 13 . When will I start to glow :roll:

I have spots too :-( its driving me mad, and I make then worse from picking :doh: I used to suffer with spots badly so should know to leave them alone, I have enough scars from them already! :roll:

I want to glow too :x

JT I pick them too :doh: , I bought some Clearasil gel stuff and put it on last night . It really worked its fab.....but the little spots have gone and mount etna is now sited on my bloomin chin .

girls have you tried zovirax for your coldsores ?

i suffer all year round from them and thats probs the best thing for them

Leelee I asked in boots and they wouldn't sell me it. Apparently its not advisable in pregnancy .Thanks tho its what I would of used .

A cream??? That is odd.

My doctor told me that I could use Hydrocortizone (sp?) cream for my ezxecma the other day.

I'd go & ask your doc. Chemists are wimps & will not give you anything! :doh:

Possibly Glitterygirl they (boots) wouldn't give me Nizoral shampoo the other day. Apparently any cream you put on your skin absorbs into your blood stream so maybe thats why ?? Nevermind I hpe it goes soon tho .

I reckon they are just scared to give it to you just incase you go back to them!!

I would go & see the doctor & see what he says.

Hi another one who was suffering with spots this time round, last time my skin was perfect but this time suffering quite bad.

Though the last week or so it has cleared a bit, but touch wood no coldsores!!

Not nice is it Adele :roll: . Thing is by the time I actually get an appointment at the GP's it will of gone .

see in thinking about it, I am sure there are new zovirax type pills you can take.

Are you allowed anything like that during pregnancy ?
