When do we get them and how do they present themselves? What do you do to get your allowence?
J will be three in November.

do you mean the uniform vouchers or the ones where thay go to school for part payed by gov..?

i *think* the ones for sessions are out and about now or just before they turn 3 so in your case prob summer if he only starts once he is 3..hope that helps.
my beth has just turned 3 and starts pre school in september..
the uniform one is :doh: i cant remeber...oh yeh sorry its for low income families.. you get a voucher towards uniforms... it wasnt much when my mate got it..i think she said £20..

You get the session vouchers from the term after they are 3, so if J is 3 in November you will get them from the January term.

Do you have to apply for them from somewhere? My DS is 3 in Nov too and have had his name down for ages, so hoping a place will be available in January.

You don't have to apply for them, the pre-school or nursery will sort that out for you, you just have to sign a form a the beginning of each term and they do the rest
