What has been the best thing you have bought for your babies?
So far I think my money has been well spent on my activity gym as Isabel uses this all the time and also for the early weeks, the moses basket was fabulous!
The other great buy was the bath support, I dont know how I would manage without it!

Mine has been my breast pump which means that I can escape from the baby if I want to! And I don't have to do all the night feeds

My carry cot!
Joseph sleeps in it during the day, and I take him out in it in the day, on the chasis.
It was bought for Tash when she was born and it has been sooo good for both my babies.

Hellooo!
I think mine would have to be his Bjorn baby bouncer. He loves it in there. Couple that with a Baby Einstein DVD and he's in heaven!

I love Silly Billyz bibs, I've just put an order in for some with sleeves. They don't stain or go twisty and frumpled in the wash and they are fab colours. Cheapest place I have found is Silly Billyz (http://www.thatcuteage.com/s11p1-SillyBillyz?src=ad_bib)

I am soooo glad we bought a moses basket, Thomas looks so tiny in his cot at the moment I couldn't imagine him sleeping in it and it is very easy to carry around the house and other peoples houses - definately worth the money
I'd say my worst buy was a bottle warmer - not really sure why I actually spent money on one of these rather then just a mug and hot water ?? Also I can not be bothered to spend 5 mins warming up Thomas' bottle at 4am whilst he is crying to be fed so he has now got used to to room temp milk anyway
:roll eyes smilie:
August Girl - Silly Billyz Bibs are FAB!!!

My Mum bought us our Fisher Price Aquarium swing and my god, I'd have had arms like Mike Tyson without it!
Elise had colic til she was 14wks, so this was the only other way of getting her off to sleep. And like Cheetara says, the Baby Einstein DVD's - Elise has been watching them since she was 6wks old, and still loves them all now! 8)

Maisie is now 2 but, by far, my best buy was my Stokke handy sitt. Complete god send. Lives in the boot and comes on holiday and she never complained about getting into it as she's got older as she feel likes its her grown up chair.
Complete waste of time was the nappy wrapper bin?!?

My best baby buy was a changing table thing that you put on top of the cot. I know it has saved my back from breaking. When I have to change her at relatives I'm in agony!! Definately worth the £30 we spent on it.

Its hard to say! I had a moses basket given me and it was useless to me really. Lu didnt like it and it was only up 6 wks.
The travel cot was a great buy, i still use it now and used it with the basinette until she was 7ish months. Its a playpen now.
We had a swinging crib which was fab also, i liked having her next to our bed when she was younger, she lasted til 7 months in that too.
Also my sangenic nappy bin, we keep it in the cupboard under the stairs and am get to get any nasty smells :)
ETA: Also our Graco swing was a godsend and our fisherprice aquarium gym was brilliant. The swing lasted til 9 months and the gym i put away just before her bday as she was using it as a surfboard and it was getting dangerous!

Another vote for bibs but this time the Cherubibs

they were a bit more expensive than normal bibs but wash fantastically and are a godsend when first weaning
