Yeah, but they're appealing to the summer tourists who want to take a bit of Harrods back home. I can see their logic actually, especially as they say they are responding to demand.

Selfridges also feel the same thing, as they are opening their Christmas dept in two weeks.

when i worked in Argos one christmas i was ready to pull my ears off by november.
oddly, I like christmas shops that stay open all year round but to have christmas displays in regualr shops in the summer does seem a little :loco: - i'm still in my sundresses!

I shall be starting my Xmas shopping early this year, i left it really late last year and ended up spending WAY too much because i didn't give myself time to look round for bargains.

I think i'll start when i return from my holiday, begining of September.

When i was pg with Lu, i managed to get all my stuff bought and wrapped before i was due which was 29 Nov :ellie:
