Hello, I just wondered if you had any wise words.
I need a nanny when I have my baby in October. Perhaps I'll have a confinement nanny (I'm probably having a section, and this is my first child) but will need a permanent nanny for when I go back to work some 12 weeks after birth. Ideally a daytime one (although they cost twice the price as you have to pay for their separate accomodation.
It's not something that many of my friends have done in the UK so I'm a bit at sea.
Before anyone asks, I work in Singapore, they don't have such a thing as childcare centres. On balance, I'd prefer that because they get a mix, but I don't have much choice. Everyone has a maid and nannies.
I just wonder what questions I should be asking?
Of course I need to get on with them and will also rely on my gut feeling.
Thanks everyone. (also posted in babies)
