My feet

:huh: Hiya, recently i have had loads of dry hard skin on the bottom of my feet... every so often it is cracking and causing me pain ... any ideas of what i could use to prevent this ?:cry:

There was a thread about this on Health & beauty started by katkinn entitled something like 'feet like a rhino' :lol:

From the advice given there I bought a metal callous foot file and Flexitol heel balm which are both great!

If only I could actually keep applying the stuff and stop walking about barefoot everywhere my feet would be lovely.

It was indeed me who had feet like a rhino. They WERE like an aged rhino now they're merely like a young baby rhino as I do keep walking everywhere in flipflops which is pants for your feet!

I used the fake white stone pummice thing from Boots which is brill and the Flexitol which is just miracle cream (according to my DH!!!)

Flexitol heal balm is great but I'm rubbish at remembering to apply it.

All the above treatments are good, but you could also try melting some parrafin wax, applying it to your feet with a brush, putting on cotton socks and sleeping with them on.

Next day, remove socks, peel off wax and this leaves feet lovely and soft.
