..... was convinced that I hadn't been shortlisted for the job in NICU that I loved as it's been almost 3 weeks since closing date so I just threw caution to the wind and rang her. She had got my email last week but her inbox was too full to reply! The good news is that they haven't finished shortlisting yet so it's not a big fat NO just yet :lol: She hopes to finish sorting them in the next week or so and she told me to keep watching the post!
She doesn't get to know the persons name or age (which is good) so even though she met me (and hopefully liked me!) she wouldn't know my application, she said when I visited that I'd have to make sure she knew something about me if I wanted to get noticed, I felt a bit cheeky at the time and just made sure she knew my job/travel history but nothing extra special. On the phone today she said, well if you gave me a hint when you visited I'll look out for it so just decided I had nothing to lose and said, I didn't really give you a hint then but here's one :announce: I delivered a baby in Papua New Guinea :lol:
She said, Gosh right, I'm sure there won't be many appications with that on and laughed!
:fingerscrossed: that she will find it and decide she wants to interview me!!!
