...has now been on my washing line in the garden for 3 days

I put it out on monday morning, it rained and I thought - aah feck it, I'll just leave it til it stops raining.

But it has rained ever since!

I keep thinking 'dammit, I refuse to bring in my washing wetter than when I put it out there'

But at some point I really need to admit defeat don't I? It could rain for WEEKS!

I'm sure my neighbours think I'm a right slob

bovvered? :happyno: :happyno: :happyno: :happyno:

That is so funny.

I have done the saem thing in the past and have had to admit defeat and bring in WET clothes and put it in the drier!

I've got a quilted bedspread thingy out on my line ATM thats about to go into day 3. I swear it's wetter now than when it was hung out there

Actually, I remember down south there was a stigma about leaving your washing out on the line and being lazy / a slob. Interestingly up here there doesn't seem to be a problem with it, people leave washing out or weeks without comment

I can't say I take that much notice of what clothes are on other people's washing lines anyway :happyno: .

I put some things out yesterday, and then it pissed down, but they're still there  .
