Im having my wedding invites kindly designed and printed by my uncle at the moment, then we are going to put inserts into them with the different info (some are are for all day, some for evening only)

Whats the best way of sticking the inserts in? i want it to look proffesional and not so you can tell where the glue is iyswim. (i havent done anything like this since i was at school!)

The invites are cream card and the inserts will be on white paper.

You could try using fibres (or posh cord/elastic) to tie them together? Like this
http://www.damsels.org/classifieds/showproduct.php?product=95&cat=500- where I used a vellum cover with a card inside.

or something like this http://www.damsels.org/classifieds/showproduct.php?product=92&cat=35

Another way to fix things is to use eyelets or brads, brads are easier and don't require special tools, you can get them in many colours and shapes. (They are just like paper fasteners). Eyelets require a posh hole punch and might look a bit too 'industrial'. Here is a card with brads in the corner http://www.damsels.org/classifieds/showproduct.php?product=71&cat=35, I don't think I have a card which shows eyelets very clearly.

If you go with glue, lakeland do a very thin double sided tape here http://www.lakelandlimited.co.uk/product.aspx/crafts/crafttools!6412_6405 which I use a lot.

Someone else might come along with other ideas. but I will try and think some more.

I actually find that pritt stick (or equivalent) works really well for inserts. Basic but does the job!

I like the brads, they look nice, have to see if i can find a shape/colour that will match my cards.

either that or i will completely run out of time and use pritt stick!

Thanks for the ideas

i find double sided tape works really well too, no 'wet' to worry about!
