did you do a birth plan when you went then Shoppie?

Yes  I did have a birth plan with DS, though it was obviously a total waste of time. This time we talked through the options when I was there, then she typed it up and sent it to me, I made a few amends and the final version is in with my notes, as well as being on the hospital's file.

Must admit, looking at the theatre didn't even occur to me, though it might be a good idea as when I read that bit of your reply it made me feel physically sick :ohno:

OOh that sounds good then - hopefully mine will do the same!
I did do a labour ward tour when i had my 1st round of birth reflections but couldn't see theatre as they were both busy. I thought I felt alright about it as, like you, at the time is was just a dash to make sure our little boys were alright rather than actually thinking about what really happened there - if that makes sense :puzzled:
& then just being incredibly grateful that all was okay in the end so not giving too much thought to that part of it but it was a few months ago that I really started shuddering at the thought of theatre and the feeling of no-control (sorry, don't want to put anyone off, its really not that bad when you're in the moment I think its just one of those hindsight things)
I may feel absolutely fine walking back in there, which would be great but I'd prefer the next time to be because I am having a tour rather than because I'm about to have a baby!

Hi all - meal last night was ok but not worth the money :happyno:
£30 each & I would describe it as a posh cold carvery....... (said that at work this morning & quite a few people agreed)

We got a choice of salmon en croute, chicken, ham, chorizo, chicken liver pate (sorry parfait:wink: ) then a choice of potatoes, rice salad, pasta salad, green salad & tomato/feta salad.........

No desert, no coffee, no vegetarian option...........

Tasted nice but as I say, bit of a rip off really......

hey ho.

had Euwyn at work with me today so didn't get as much done as I would have liked but still got quite a bit done - have got my stuff for Tuesday's Summer School organised - still have to do Thursday but will do that in a moment & also gone through a lot of cupboards......

Tomorrow I have to box up everything I want to keep (all the rooms are being either deep-cleaned or decorated or both so they're throwing away anything that isn't boxed up. Also I'm changing rooms anyway......)

Friday it'll be last minute bits (I'll probably end up doing all the boxing up as I've got Euwyn with me again tomorrow!!) & clearing out all the crap on the laptop as they want them all in.......

I won't be seeing my MW till end of August now, but I do have a diabetes clinic & growth scan on 29th July..... Do you think I should ask them to do a full blood count as I won't be seeing my mw till I'm about 32 weeks or will it be ok?:puzzled:

Hi all
well here I am resting.....My friend L has the boys and friend S has DD. My house is VERY quiet but I have just had an uninterrupted bath, and am now all moisturised and dressed and clean (and BOILING hot)
My swelling has gone completely it would seem on my hands :ellie: I am working 4 hours tomorrow then I have Friday off, then the w/e then its my last week before the kids break up, and I go on holiday on a week monday for 9 days so I think I can manage next week! I *must* ring the mw as in our hurry to get to hospital yesterday I didnt make another appt, either to check my BP this week, or the next routine one  which I think is 34 weeks??? I have a scan at the hospital at 32 weeks to check where the placenta is.
I am feeling a lot better but i am angry with myself for "not coping" but I think thats my issue  I spent my middle pregnancy in and out of hospital with false alarms and the like and I was determined not to put everybody through it again this time.

Lordy Myzz that does sound like an expensive night :brainache: glad you had a good time though :thumb:

Pops, glad to hear you are resting and none of this - "not coping" rubbish, I did this to myself last time and deeply regret it from the bottom of my heart! If I could change anything it would be to have slowed down and stop trying to prove could act as though I wasn't pg!
I'm all for the fact that pregnancy isn't an illness and life does go on but when your body tells you to stop you have to stop & this time I'm determined to do that!
So get yourself a bag of revels and enjoy the sofa

I was so like that before as well. And really paid for it. My BP is so much better this time!

saw the consultant today. All looking ok. Baby kicked the doctor as she was feeling around my tummy and heartbeat was really good and strong.

Fundus (sp?) measures 23 weeks but I am 24 weeks. They said not to worry but were glad I had growth scans already booked. If I hadn't, I would have been booked in.

She also said that I don't need to see the midwife again if I don't want to!

I realised that on one week, I have an appt 4 days of the week. Growth scan, then consultant, then GTT and thyroid function tests and then midwife. Lucky I don't have J that week.

Shoppie - hugs for you.

Myzz - I'd ask for anything you can when you go to the hosp.

Peridot - i like your advice about the revels.

saw the MW who was uselss. She asked why I was even there. told her I'd not seen a MW since week 16 and the booklet said I should see one at 28 weeks. She said well you don't have any issues do you?! Fecking hell.

Then she realised she neede to take bloods and got all flustered about my BP. I think it was raised due to her! They seem much more laid back - I had to go every month with the first prg.

HC - you have a busy week with your apps!

Bloody hell Tripod, I would've been so pissed off - ermmm maybe just some reassurance is nice thanks :brainache: a chance to be told that everything is how it should be!!

HC - can't believe you have 4 appnts in 1 week :faint: & glad you have the reassurance of the growth scans  when is your next one? Bet you're looking forward to seeing your baby again

Really busy with work. Have just been away for 5 days to a gift fair and have now got 3 days work before going on 3 weeks holiday to Denmark:ellie:

Sebastian is already over there with his grandparents. I am missing him like crazy, but he is having such a good time.

I am really lucky that I feel so well during my pregnancies. I have loads of energy and I just feel really happy. (touch wood)

Big:hug: to everyone struggling at the moment. It must be really hard.

DH and I are going to do up nursery this weekend, so a trip to Ikea this evening.

Hello all
Hope everyones feeling ok today!! Well I feel totally recharged after my day of rest. Woke up this morning and my SPD wasnt even that bad
Took my Maternity Allowance forms up the job centre/dole office and the bloke said they nneed to go to Yeovil :loco: so I smiled sweetly and he is sending it with their courier this afternoon
Then nipped into Woolies (i know i know Im resting NOW ok!) and got the little wooden table and bench set I fell in love with Monday but didnt buy- have been kicking self ever since (£15.97 from £49.99) and a little play teepee for the kids for Saturday for the street party. THey have a new playhouse from Tesco in the back garden that arrived yesterday (massive hit with all of them from the 3 year olds to the 10.5 year olds not to mention my 44 year old DH who sat in it drinking Pimms after he'd built it :teehee:) but cant take playhouse back through house for Saturday so they can have a teepee lol........
Mali is in a FOUL mood and just crying all the time. I dont know what to do with him I think hes knackered. I have been a good girl and just taken my spatone- got really slack at taking it for a while and it makes the world of difference :thumb:

Tripod - can't believe your MW was such a total COW :hissyfit:

PP - glad you are feeling better for a nice rest :higgies:

Kiki - lovely to see you, hope the nursery decoration goes well! I'm not too thrilled with Ikea right now as they delayed the delivery of our order by a whole month because of 'supplier issues'

I wrote a separate thread about apointments in mental health, you may or may not have seen it. Anyhow, haven't realy been talking about them her, but have decided I am going to now. So I have the midwife next Tues, then the clinical psychologist the following Weds and the spina bifida consultant on the Thurs - welcome to my appointment-laden world!

Am working from home with Teddy today, but am going to take him out to Chessington this avo as a treat  Bless him, I really do love spending time with him so much :lurve:

ahhh shoppie you'll be just down the road from me this afternoon then, I'm in the office in Surbiton, I'm sure you'll be having much more fun than me though

Anyone else with toddlers feeling clingier to them than usual? I find I really, really miss Thomas when I'm not with him a lot more than usual, i'm sure its the hormones - he's also got a lot more clingy with me but does make me laugh as when he calls me mummy in his whiny voice he sounds just like eric cartman :teehee:

glad to hear things are going well with you Kiki :thumb: Hope you have a fab time in Denmark! Do you think you'd like to move back there eventually like Mrs SC is?

:higgies: :higgies: to all that need them.......

I am absolutely exhausted & my back is killing me - I have single-handedly boxed up the majority of my room has taken all day but at least it's done & I've only kept the essentials - I'm throwing everything else!
Nice fresh start in September......

Don't know what time tomorrow the site staff are coming for my boxes but if it's before I get into school tomorrow I'll just have to bring the other bits that I need home......

PP glad you are feeling a tad better!

Kiki - good to see you! I'd love an Ikea trip without eleanor!

Peridot - eleanor isn't clingy at all. In fact it is daddy daddy daddy all the time which drives me mad sometimes!!

Shoppie we love chessington. Have some friends who live near there so we often meetup on a friday!

DH now has the runs so has done no changing radiators today, instead is living in the loo. No hot water so will be off to my dad's shortly for a shower I think!

Does anyone else get the feeling their baby is in the tops of their legs?! :loco: Really odd feelings there!

And I was in Esher and Kingston today...we were all so close to each other!!

Tripod- I am feeling her very very low in my vagina....she kicks and I know it must jump but I cant see all the way down there

Saw the m/w on Tuesday. She said she thought I had anaemia, which was confirmed yesterday. I am currently consuming my first glass of OJ and Spatone  2 sachets because of the anemia  She didnt measure me...and they never have :puzzled:....when I measure myself I am 3 weeks ahead, but then I could be doing it wrong. I have a growth scan at 32 weeks anyway. I am seeing the midwife every other week now until 36 weeks, then every week  Its all going by so fast!! She also demanded that I stop working 1 on 1 with the kids and step back...when I asked her about doing a 2 week nanny job for 12 hours a day 5 days a week she was not very impressed
I am off to Amsterdam this weekend ladies , see you when I get back!

I spoke to MW earlier and they are seeing me next week to check my BP again and I have to make my routine 34 week appt also. It feels like AGES away at 5 weeks away but then will only have 6 weeks to go :faint:
Is it just me or has this Jan-Oct pregnancy gone sooooo fast??? It feels way quicker than my others which were 2x feb-nov and one July- March- that was deffo the longest- all over Xmas etc- Im so glad we should be feeling human by Xmas this time:cheer2:

Freaky banana!
You live around the kingston area don't you? I have a good friend that lives on Kingston hill & also works with children with special needs (well she did) and is due a couple of weeks before me - I should really introduce you both!!!
Hope the spatone takes effect quickly for you and you have a lovely time in Amsterdam

I agree pops, this pregnancy has gone much faster than my June-March pregnancy, I think its cos its all taking place within one year where as last time I felt it all went slow until after Christmas.

My baby is up sooooooooo high in my ribs atm, its so uncomfortable :zombie:
I've got the mw next week at consultant at 32 weeks then I have to start seeing the mw twice a week from 34 weeks - good job I would have finished work by then

banana - hope the spatone does the trick! :fingerscrossed: I think it tastes :yuck: but after just 3 days I am feeling better in myself

Peridot - my baby is really high up too, it makes me out of breath very easily which is a bit annoying

PP - I really don't feel this pregnancy has gone quickly at all :happyno: but then I have been really quite stressed about the baby for a lot of it, which means I focus more on each passing day I guess. Very glad to finally be 26 weeks  In fact, in a week girls we can start our final trimester thread

Tripod - boo at life with no hot water, I'd find that so hard as I have a shower every morning and hot bath every night

Teddy and I had the most lovely afternoon :lurve: It was surprisingly non-busy, a few school parties having an end of term outing, but in just 3 hours we managed to:
go on bubbleworks twice, tiny truckers 3 times, the skyway thing twice, carousel twice and also to go and see the gorillas and tigers! We were really lucky with the tigers, the mum and her 2 cubs were playing right by one of the windows and Teddy was totally captivated by them :lurve: I just love him soooo much, we had lots and lots of cuddles yesterday, especially on the scarey bit of the bubbleworks which I love because he clings to me like a limpet and burrows into my neck  :lurve:

glad you had a nice day yesterday Shoppie- sounds fab!!
i am having a quietish day today- I have Little O (although her mum was happy to have the day off if needs be) but I didnt mind working as I have literally been to toddlers and sat, and then came home, did lunch and now shes asleep where she'll probably be until 3pm. No afterschoolers so I actually finish at 4pm :ellie:
*TMI*
baby stamped on my cervix so hard about an hour ago (or headbutted) and when I went to the toilet just after there was so much EWCM it was gross!!
I am going to try and chill a bit this afternoon but also I want to get on top of the housework thus freeing up the weekend a bit. need to do really boring things too like ring the vets and the kennels for the dog..........

Glad you had a fab afternoon Shops
I keep meaning to buy some spatone and keep forgetting
Pops, I can't believe what a karate kid you have, she obviously realises already that she has a 3 other siblings to be defending herself against

Conservatory's coming along nicely :thumb: I can't believe how quickly they have worked - they've finished all of the brick work, foundations and concreted the floor in etc. so there will be a week or 2 off now and then they do the glass work and knock through to our front room and kitchen and fit french doors to both :thumb:

I need to get some carpets ordered for upstairs at some point - does anyone know if they charge carpet fitting per room or how they do it (didn't you have some done recently Shoppie??) we need 2 rooms done so wonder if it will work out cheaper to get them both done at the same time??

Peridot - we bought ours at carpet right, but most places seemed to sell things the same way. Basically, you pay £x per square metre for the actual carpet, then £y for the underlay, then £z in cash to the fitters on the day to ensure a good job. We did also have to pay extra for fititng rods etc - it added up very quickly!

I'm not sure you'd benefit much from 2 rooms at once - guess you could try to haggle with them?? (which I'm awful at!)

Peridot who have you got in to do the conservatory? Big company? At some point we need to get on with that (I'm now mid way knocking down a small wall after tackling the big bushes!!) when I've got the garden sorted.

I did get a better deal going to a small independent carpet shop than carpet right who woudlnt/couldn't do any negotiating on price when we did all upstairs in new carpets in our old house.

Banana - have a great time!

PP It is good to hear you are laying down!

DH took off all the radiators today. My don't forget to put down old towels wasn't heard so a few carpets are stained in grimness. They all need changing but not for aaaaages!

My bump seems suddenly massive. And I do agree that this pg has sped by. We have such a short time to get the house ready and just an overwelming amount to do.

Really you can still taste it Shoppie do you put it in first or last I do last and a big glass of OJ and really can't taste it oh it has to be tropicana original not cheap OJ though!!

We have just got new radiators Tripod but ours are Electrical as we have no gas where we live and we didn't want to fit oil central heating so although they have a liquid gel in them they are all self contained so no pipes or leaks. We are about to knock down a wall and then rebuild it refit windows and doors and then finally a new kitchen and eventually a conservatory!!

Right have to book a holiday this weekend for the last week in July and 1st week in August any ideas anyone!?? We always do things very last minute as DH never knows when he can get time off!!

What sort of holiday are you looking for Lotty? Home or abroad?

Tripod I used a company called Vale, they aren't that big, have one office in Staines and one in High Wycombe, they've been really good :thumb: & came recommended from a friend which tbh was most important to me as I get so worried about paying too much or getting guys in that won't do the job properly etc!

DH is being very nice to me this am :yeahright: I have just got up (he got up with T at 8) and he has now taken T to his parents so I get a couple of free hours and it means I don't have to see the in-laws this weekend - bonus!!

L66tty we have the same problem. I was looking for a cottage for the whole family (something my mum wanted to do before she got too ill - so my dad said he'd like to do it this summer). But there is nothing about. I think that going abroad seems cheaper! But we'll never get my dad on a plane.

My brother has taken my dad to the sea side for the day today so I have a day without going round there or shouting to make myself heard bless him!

DH is currently ripping apart the bathroom upstairs (brown tiles and matching 3 piece anyone?!!! as the skip is here and the radiators haven't filled it. No more weeing upstairs in the night. Am going to have to brave the stairs for the loo. Wont be able to do that with my eyes shut!

HI all
I am so tired I feel like I might keel over. we had a our street party yesterday and it was FANTASTIC but sooooo tiring. we had a barbecue with a few neighbours out the front but it ended up outside ours so we had the gazebo, dining table, crockery, cutlery, chairs, GOD everything we own it felt like outside and it all had to be away by midnight, and of course when it came to clearing up everyone scarpered........
Kids were up really late and me simon and neighbour S were sat in deckchairs with blankets outside our house til 2am :teehee: we had SUCH a laugh but I am so tired and achy now. Supposed to be going to a big picnic today but have decided to stay on sofa.
I took a few pics i was going to post but then I dropped my camera in the street  and its slightly unwell  DH is HANGING today as he drank loads and I found myself getting realy Mary Whitehouse about it and nagging him like a fishwife. It's in Turkey only 11 nights but the flights are at a sensible time and the tripadvisor reviews are excellent! I have been to Turkey before but was an all inclusive sailing holiday so spent the first week in a kids club I was 13!! and the 2nd week island hopping on a yacht!! No, though she did say something about doing a GTT later in pregnancy. Ours are done at the hospital though, so I'll have to do that separately, its definitely not done by the MW :happyno: I think there were 28 week bloods done last time to check stuff like anaemia though, and I won't have another MW appointment in a few weeks time, so am wondering if she'll do that then? & I kept telling DH he must call his parents to tell them because he didn't want to!
Very bizarre dream!
I'm having such vivid dreams recently!

BIZARRE dream Pip!!

I am off on my holibobs on Saturday whooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo can not wait.

Got Midwife on Wednesday no blood test done by my MW!?? Do have to do the Lucazade (GTT) at some point too I think its at 28 weeks so when I get back.

I think the 26-28 week bloods are actually full blood counts (to test for anaemia) as opposed to diabetes checks - if they were checking blood sugar they wouldn't ask you to make sure you'd eaten beforehand as you would EXPECT your glucose levels to be elevated just after eating......

the GTT is one where you have to starve for 12 hours beforehand (not even anything to drink other than water), you have a fingerprick test & depending on the results of that you have to drink a measured amount of glucose, wait 2 hours then have the fingerprint test & a blood test........

Not every area does this (this is why I think that I had gestational diabetes with at least Tobes but it wasn't picked up)

Have a good holiday Lotts

I havent had a blood test since booking in and am happy to keep it like that, and dont see the MW again until 34 weeks now :faint:
No mention of GTTs here, and have got away without an Anti D too!! Am supposed to be seeing MW this week just to check BP but havent heard owt yet........
Have just been to the park and its absolutely scorching!! had to move to the shade as I was swelling up and sweaty and agitated. Will definately start taking deckchair with me soon!! Might look like a prick but at least I wont be sat on grass in agony like today.

I have a light version of a GTT bloods done in my area its called the lucazade test you drink a certain amount of lucazde original and have your blood tested an hour later I think they do full blood screen and sugars. It's amazing how different the care is around the country and how differnet it is 2nd time round I remember seeing the MW a lot more 1st time round!!!

Right of to the Bluebell railway now for an hour or so oh what fun loads of nerdy old men waffling about great hunks of steam trains but the boys love it!!

Thats how they do the tests here. Or to start with anyway. If that throws up a problem, then you get the full GTT done.

I ahve my next consultant appt at 28 weeks and I ahve to have full bloods done then. I assume thats what would avhe been meant about bloods rather than being about Blood sugars.

Not much going on here. felt really rough on friday (I didn't get out o bed for 24 hours apart from to be sick) and was wobbly on sat. I had to cancel my hair appt but was lucky and managed to move it to sat. They did cut my hair a bit too short, I think, but I avhe had loads of compliments. Might not get time today but will post a pic in beauty and you can all let me know what you think. Think its about time I did a new bump pic too. I feel huge, even if they think I am measuring small.

Baby is jumping away like mad, almost all the time. feels like she doesn't stop. I had loads of BHs on thursday aswell and dh has decided that I might not get my section after all and is taking bets on an early arrival!

I just think she is battering away trying to make more room for herself.

Trying to decide if I want to do a yoga class or not. Someone recommended me one, but the other problem is the practicality with dhs shifts. Its alright for the next three weeks when he is on hols but after that.......

Have you been given any instructions for it?

Have lovely holidays L66ty and Kiki. I'm so jealous. We're not getting a holiday this year   Our holiday is DH taking 2 weeks off when baby arrives.

We have the Lucozade challenge test too. I have it in 2 weeks at 28 weeks.
We have to drink a specific amount of Traditional flavoured Lucozade then not eat anything for an hour and have the blood test (along with others I think). If that shows up a problem we have to go to the hospital for the full works. My sis had the full GTT with the fasting, drinking sugared water and then blood tests after 1 and 2 hours. That was due to a study she was doing rather than having a dodgy Lucozade thingy.
I really struggle with it as I HATE lucozade.

Have a fab time Kiki

I don't have to do the lucazade thing here - not that I know of anyway!

I don't really think I saw the mw any more last time other than I saw her at 25 wks as well as 28 wks but I supposed because I'm shared care then it feels like I'm going to be seen even more this time!
So far so good with signs for pre-eclampsia  I am a lot less stressed this time though which I think has definately helped

Hi girls

Have a lovely holiday L66TTY and Kiki. We're trying to work out if we can go away again for a long weekend in the UK but it's not looking hopeful due to my shifts.

I next see the mw at 28wks for full blood count, glucose and Anti-D jab. I had the full GTT (fasting, blood test, drink syrupy water then rpt bloods 2 hrs later) a few weeks ago after my booking in bloods highlighted a slightly raised glucose level. Never have had the result.

Must sort out my MatB1 form too.

Nathan has bloody chicken pox! :hissyfit: He had a couple of spots on his bottom Saturday and I thought they were bites. A few more appeared on his back and chest yesterday and today he has loads. Took him to the Dr today as I've not had c/pox and it's been confirmed.

I'm having a blood test tomorrow to see if the virus is active in my system and then am booked to see GP Thurs for gamma-globulin injection and acyclovir tablets if the result is positive. The jab is horrendous. 10mls of fluid injected into your backside. GP said he'd had all of his children immunised against c/pox. I would have had Nathan done if I'd known it was available. I so don't want to get it. I'm just starting to get over tonsilitis and the awful pus filled spots I had last week! Work will not be happy if I'm off again.

RS are they 100% certain you didn't have CP before?? Or that Nathan doesn't have what you have just seems a bit of a coinsidence??!!

Feeling really good today almost non pregnant apart from my trousers digging into my bump!! Long may it last!! Pip is still squiggling around lots so everything is OK but I feel energised and me! Perhaps its the thought of the holiday but cripes its going to be soooo Hot hope little man is OK bought some of that P20 sun lotion you put on once and lasts all day and will then top it up with his normal stuff.

Off to see Mama Mia on Wednesday night can't wait!!

Sorry to hear about the C/Pox Red, hope it doesn't last long! I've heard that they prefer not to give the jab in this country for c/pox because, as horrible as it is for your LO to suffer its a relatively harmless thing to get as a child, at least you know they can only get it once (if that's any consolation right now :meh:)

Sorry to hear about your head ache Tripod, hope you manage to get a good nights sleep :higgies:

:ellie: for you holiday Lotts  we took Thomas to Cyprus when he was D's age and he coped so well with the heat, didn't seem phased by it at all, in fact the one good thing was it seemed to make him quite sleepy :thumb: we used to go for a swim in the sea in the morning and just the waves of the sea would make him sleepy so he's have to have a little sleep in his push chair afterwards :thumb:

Have you been given any instructions for it?

I am not medically trained or anything so can not say for sure but they can not be as accurate if you ahve eaten during the day. That is why if the lucozade one looks a bit dodgy, you then have to fast.

It is easier to get a true picture when you have been fasting and then they do the bloods again 2 hours after having the yukky drink. That is supposed to be more accurate. Shows how your body is reacting to the "stuff" (sorry, brain not working) Thats what the MW said to me anyway

Oh, I am so jealous. I really wish we would ahve a holiday too. We had been planning to go away for two weeks, around about now. But the hosue hasn't sold so where we have been paying for two houses, we have not been able to have money aside for holidays.

The only thing we can think of is to have a long weekend in august. Looks like the house sale will be going through soon, so then we should have some money in the bank.

We had planned to go back to Malta to visit my dhs uncle but all gone out of the window.

Never mind. We had also planned a trip in Sept. Before we found out I was pg. Our friends are moving to Sardinia next month and we had planned to visit them at the beginning of Sept. Think I will be about 33/34 weeks pg by then so unlikely I will be ale to travel. and, SIL was supposed to have FIL for a week, which is why we had planned it then, but SIL is not keeping her promises, YET AGAIN!

Had planned to get the ok from GP/MW so that we could travel but if we have no one to look after FIL, then there is no point.

Sorry for ramble/rant

HC - I'm pretty sure Lotty is corect - so long as you have a medical certificate you can usually fly pretty late, though I think insurance can be a bit of a problem :ohno: Also, that can't be long at all before your planned section!

I'll be interested to discover from my MW today what she is actually doing and where the GTT fits in as I'm now totally baffled! Last time it defo involved starving, drinking lucozade and then going to the hossie for a blood test  My dad has type 2 diabetes though, so they'd always test.

Have been meaning to ask, is anyone else keeping a pregnancy diary? I am, I tend to write a page or 2 a week (it has prompts for stuff to write about like feeding methods, age gaps etc) - anyone else?

Theres still plenty of time for bump to go head down isn't there? I'm sure my bump is breech atm from the pains I'm getting in my ribs - did she say if it was normal to be breech at 29 weeks?

MW is goinng to read up on GBS as the info about no Anti bs has finally filtered through to her but she said she will swab me before Home Birth to be 100%
Yep I am pissed off about lack of veins too- I HATE having blood taken and it was especially weird sat on my sofa with 3 kids in playroom next door and Beanie peering round door every 5 seconds!! Sort of glad she couldnt find it, as I can now go Thursday with just Beanie and make Simon come too and mind him
