Just wanted to have a positive post for me (sorry if thats self indulgent) to make me feel better.

Over the past few days Lu's speech has really taken a turn for the better.

We were out with friends yesterday afternoon and she didn't stop yapping, she can now say all 3 of our friends childrens name, quite cleary too :D and when one of their little boys did "round and round the garden" on her hand she immediately chanted "like a tuddy bore" :ellie: :ellie: we were all quite shocked as she hasn't done anything that WOW yet.

She can also sing up to D, of the alphabet song :D

Today at my Sisters when we arrived she saw my Sisters LO and shouted "its baby maddi, its baby maddi" she was a little weary of my brother who was there, he's 18 but she has only ever seen him once or twice, by the end of the afternoon she was giving him kisses and saying "kiss dandul" :ellie: :ellie:

Bless her Katy, you will probably find that there is no stopping her now, once they find their proper voice thay seem to pick up new words and phrases every day.

Don't apologise for having a VPMM and a self indulgent post, that's what this forum is for :ellie:

Awww, well done to Lucy. Daniel didn't start talking until later because he was having to learn 3 languages (in fact he still doesn't talk in proper sentences now) so I know how you girls feel (who have late talkers). Whan I was discussing Daniels lack of speech with a friend of mine, she said that Einstein didn't utter a word till he was 3! So don't be disheartened. They're probably busy learning other stuff!

Aww thanks S_a!! She is still going strong and has added a few new words/phrases to her collection.

This morning when the cat jumped in through the bathroom window as we were brushing our teeth she yelled "hello fuge" which is just too cute for words!! :D

Also now when she is having a tantrum and i'm trying to get her to sit still she yells "gerroff"
