Children's towels [Archive]

I am looking for some new towels for Dan and want some nautical theme ones.

Have seen these:

in John Lewis, but they aren't quite what I want. Was looking for white ones really.

Has anyone seen any - or do you think an iron on transfer type thing would work, or would it just wash off too easily? If so any idea where I get those from?

Have a look in Laura Ashley. I got some lovely white towels with fish on them (blue and green) a while ago (ages actually). Brilliant quality towels that stay really soft. They were in the sale so not expensive. I don't know what they have in at the moment so it may be a wild goose chase but I was surprised thinking it was all pink roses and twiddly things in there.

They are a bit random with what they have but we got a lovely farmyard themed set from TKMaxx last year.

Iron on wouldn't work on towelling but you could buy some embroidered motifs and sew them on.

Sadly I cannot sew for toffee so this isn't going to happen!

Have tried LA , in fact that is where most of his bedroom stuff came from. But they don't seem to have anything in at the moment.

Oh well...I'll just keep looking!

You could try ebay? (new ones tho!) I recently got some kids towels (princess ones, not nautical) from a ebay shop in America, there were loads of different themes there, p+p was quite cheap too.

Still on the hunt for boat ones as well though!

These kind of towels are often in Matalan, but the quality is pants.

Look nice tho.....
