Yes Buster my cat has gone missing yet again! The last time was for a month in 2004, the RSPCA found him that time 5 miles away pestering someone for food.
I thought that considering he's done this before it wouldn't bother me all that much and that I'd be quite stoical about the fact that he was coming back, but I'm just as worried.
He's been gone since Saturday, never came home saturday evening (v.unlike him - he loves his food).
I've slept so badly the last couple of nights, b'cos I keep waking up in a blind panic that he's trapped or injured somewhere :-(
So this week I have the grim task of trudging round the neighbourhood with flyers/posters etc. :sigh:
Please send 'come home Buster' vibes this way!

Don't worry, he'll be back.
One of mine always goes AWOL when it has been hot.

:kitten: Buster get your butt back home you naughty one!
it is upsetting when they're not home when they should be, and then prance back in without a care in the world.

Still no news, thanks for all the kind words, I'm not giving up hope just yet, as I'm sure that he's lurking around somewhere, and that he'll drive someone mad with his incessant miaowing at some point and they'll either phone a vet/RSPCA or something.
Oh and Skylark - the move is off (for now) shall tell all at some point.

For some reason I've not really noticed this forum before  so I'm afraid I'm a bit late coming to this. Anyway I'll keep everything crossed that Buster turns up soon. If it's any consolation one of our cats actually went missing for 2 years:faint: He just turned up one day as if nothing had happened, I thought at first that I was seeing a ghost!
