This is what I have available to make my dinner tonight, can someone suggest some yummy recipes:
Chicken Legs
Celariac (have not got a clue why I bought it or what to do with it)
Butternut Squash
Cabbage
Red/Yellow peppers
Tomatoes
Potatoes
Rice
Pasta
usual dairy suspects of sour cream, cheese, milk, eggs and yoghurt
How about roasted veggies including the celeriac, BNS, potatoes, onions if you have them and peppers and cooking the chicken legs in with that ? I do this with lamb chops and it's lovely with some rosemary and olive oil.
Celeriac is really good in soups or in a vegetable mash with potatoes etc. I also like it grated raw with a wholegrain mustard mayo

Do you mix the celaric with potatoes for mash or do you mash it on its own?
And yes I have onions :laff:
I boil the potatoes and celeriac all up together and then mash as you would do potatoes.

Sear the chicken legs in a pan until cooked on the outside. Bung in an ovenproof dish, cover with chopped tomatoes and grated cheese - bake for 30 mins on around 160 degrees. Serve with rice
OR
remove chicken from bone and stir fry with peppers and tomatoes. Cook some pasta and then chuck it all in an oven proof dish. Grate some bread and chese over the top and again back for 30 mins on 160 degrees.
(I have a fan oven so add 20 degrees for a conventional oven.
