We have been to ikea today to look at beds for daniel and liked oe of their extendable beds, it matches his drawers quite well. But I am a bit concerned about the matress in it.
If anyone has one does the three part matress make it uncomfortable for them as it extends?
And is a foam matress okay? We have a sprung one in the cot and I'm not sure about swapping to a foam one.
Any thoughts?

I don't have one but one of my friends does and has got along really well with it for her little boy. He's been in it a couple of years now (he's 4.5) and I think is now at full size...

Did you have a foam mattress in the cot as well Irislili? Not sure if the change from sprung to foam will make a big difference to him after two years and now I have eventually got him sleeping through I dont want too many problems!

He had a sprung one in his cot and was a nightmare to get him to settle in it :brainache: , he took to his bed really well but i made a big fuss of HIM choosing his new sheets and duvet covers for his bug boys bed which i think really really helped
