My delivery was meant to come after 1pm today as I knew I'd be home by that time - I got home around 11:30 & my neighbour shouted over that she'd taken the parcel in for me  I'm sure my last one didn't come when it was meant to either

Grrr to them - I am still waiting for an item I ordered in the xmas sale  - I phoned them about a month ago to see where it was, she said oh it will be with you soon?? It was a throw for our bed - i am thinking I should just give up on any chance of it coming now LOL
I don't think my Next courier ever comes within the times I request. She's always early and leaves it over the gate at the side which is annoying if I've planned on staying in especiallly.
 not even on the right day in my experience!

:happyno: never been know here, although I always get them earlier than they state tbh :puzzled: .
Mine always comes in the morning regardless of the time I state when I order.

When you request a specific time of day, that is what it is a REQUEST. It is never a definite that it will arrive at that time, but the customer service advisor does mark it down for the courier to deliver then, if it is practical for the courier.
Please remember all couriers are self-employed and do not work specific hours. Their work fits in around them, and they can't guarantee a specific delivery slot.
I would advise obtaining your courier's phone number and contacting them directly when you are expecting an order and asking them if there is any way to have it at a specific time, or arranging a safe place / alternate delivery address.
Once it leaves the depot, the customer service advisor has no more control over it's whereabouts than you do.

I think mine always delivers at the same time regardless.
She is a busy Mum and is really friendly so I would never rock the boat for her though. I guess if I had planned to stay in (which I never do) I would be a bit cross though.
ETA Well done 1980babe
