View Full Version : Creatis car seat question
When did you remove the pad taht sits in the bottom of the seat so they lie flatter when they are new born? I have just realised that jack still has in his seat  Does it stop them from sitting properly when they get older?

I never removed Del's, didn't know you could! I looked underneath and it didn't look very comfortable and I couldn't see if it detatched or not

From memory, I think Eliza was about 3/4 months, gave her a lot more room:smile:
AG I think there are poppers on the underside. I might give it a go and see how much more room he has got.

Did you manage to remove it OK? I think they reccommend 3 months in the instructions.

They say not later than 3 months but we removed ours a couple of weeks ago as Daniel is quite long and didnt look very comfortable. You arent supposed to move the shoulder bits up with it in and they were round his elbows!!

Oops, I never realised you could or should . It took a while before I realised you could adjust the headrest though. James has already moved to a forward facing seat as he was too big for the creatis but I feel a bit silly now as he was obviously uncomfy in the creatis for quite a while and I could have improved things for him . That will teach me to read the instructions next time!

HH - I bet he would have lasted longer in the Creatis if you realsied the extra cushion bit came out! Ethan was OKk in his Creatis up to about 11 months in the end!

OH, it comes out :teehee: fancy that!! Well I've removed it now and will probably have to move the headrest down a bit. I was wondering how she was going to fit in it for another 6 months :scratchchin:

Der der...I've never taken mine out either? How does it come out? Does the headrest and cushion all come out together?

I think it must just be the cushion lucypede, as the headrest slides up and down to adjust the height. I think someone mentioned that there were poppers to remove the cushion.

I usually read instruction but for some reason bypassed this step with the car seat - I left it up to my OH to read them and relay the information to me. In future I think I'll read them myself. Thank god for the damsels ladies!!
