Hi Ladies

I have just bought a pair of under the bump jeans as all my over the bump ones were starting to b a bit tight.

Is it just me or does any one else find them REALLY uncomfortable!
I keep having to pull them up!

Do they get better as your bump gets bigger??

Sorry, but I found under the bump stuff to be c***. Which is a shame as they are a good idea in theory, and work if you stand still but as soon as you walk anywhere, I found that they fall down and then then you end up having to hitch them up which is so not a good look. But other people seem to get on with them just fine so maybe it's my body that's weird! :wik:

I have made sure I have got over the bump ones this time.

the only maternity jeans I own are 2 pairs of under the bump ones from Topshop. Ive been wearing them since about 13 weeks, but with a belt. I've had to go on the loosest setting with no belt on my Mooch jeans, but loosest with belt on my Duke jeans, the builders bum thing doesnt seem to be an issue anymore, just the button digs into bump which gets sore :(

I am not paying £40 for a pair I only wear once!!!

I saw some really nice over the bump ones in H&M but they only had them in XL  they were really nice, distressed style.

I couldnt get on with them at all. I always hated having any clothing over my tum (prepreg) and always vowed i'd never wear those hiddeous maternity trousers with a big stretchy band across the belly, but they were the only things i felt comfortable in.

I had some underbump jeans from Next and they were rubbish, i was pulling them up every 5 mins  my most comfortable pair which i didnt actually buy until i was about 32 wks  were a pair from Mothercare that cost me £10 in the sale and they've got a huge stretchy waistband :D

I love my under the bump jeans! I have mooch ones from topshop and some from ASDA and a pair of cropped linen under the bump trousers from DPs. I am not massive yet so may change my mind but I think they are reallt comfortable!

I had mine from about 26 and had a fair sized bump at the time, although you think that til you see what your bump is like 4 wks later, and then 4 wks later again etc etc :laff:

I only wore them a few times but got them out again when i was about 34 wks thinking they might fit better but they still kept falling down, and believe me its not like my arse wasn't big enough to hold them up

I dont know what it was, they just sort of hung under my bump but didn't really cling to anything, the crutch always ended up by my knees and the pockets that were supposed to be on my bum were at the backs of my knees :laff: i always thought that maybe i was just a funny shape but lots of people on HB had said the same about this style of jeans.

I have under the bump and over the bump ones. I find my topshop mooch jeans a little uncomfortable with the button thing like spandangley. My ones from Dotty Ps with thick wasteband are really comfy but do fall down a bit. Its getting better the bigger my bump gets though!

I tried on some jeans from Mamas and papas which were so comfy but coulnt justify buying them when i have other pairs of maternity jeans already. They had panel pockets made out of swimming costume type material and were really nice!(sounds dorky but not :laff: )
