How To Be A Woman, by Caitlin Moran
Pancake01 first mentioned this book on Damsels. In her words:
I read ‘How to be a woman’ by Caitlin Moran and I can’t recommend it enough. It’s given me some mantras to live by.
‘We’re all going to die. Very soon – there is no time to watch Homes Under the Hammer in your jamas’.
‘Don’t be. DO!’
Say ‘STOP’ to the catastrophic imaginings in your head – you made them, you can stop them.
Don’t be a princess – don’t wait for someone to kiss you marry you, make things better, buy you nice knickers etc.
Life won’t be so much better once I have lost 3 stone.
I, personally, disagree with Caitlin Moran’s point about life being too short to watch Homes Under The Hammer in your jamas. But hey, this book has split feminist opinion – although possibly not along those lines.
And is she meant to look like she has steam coming out of her ears?
